Here are some tips to make your indoor tanning experience as good as possible. [include file=ad1.txt]The better you prepare yourself the better tan you will get your skin will also benefit from what you do before and after your tanning session. If your attending a tanning salon, I know that you only have 4-6 minutes once you pay and get to your booth to get undressed and apply lotion. Lets make the best of the time we have.
Prepare you body before you go to the salon
One of the best things you can do is be as clean as possible, I know that may be difficult if you squeezing you tan in during you lunch hour or right after work. Another tip you might consider if the situation is convenient is to apply your lotion before you get to the salon. This way you will not be rushed when the timer starts ticking after you have been assigned you booth or room.
Use proper lotion and apply it correctly
Take your time and apply you lotion correctly. You do not want to be missing spots or skimming on the amount of lotion you use. Also be sure to check your skin type, there are many different brands and varieties of tanning lotions that are available for you, you want to get the proper lotion for you skin type.
Change positions as you tan
This is another important tip that many new tanners who have not been to a tanning salon very often make the mistake of not doing. Make sure that you raise your arms so you get your underarms, I usually do this when I first get in laying on my back. Depending on your sensitivity to the tanning booth you may should be fine 2-4 minutes for under arms. After you made several trips you can better see if you need to add time or not. Also make sure that you lay on your belly too, because if you fail to then you will miss that spot on your lower back just above you buttocks.
After Your Tanning Session
Be sure that you wear loose fitting clothes so you do not get lotion all over them. You can also lightly wipe off with the towel the salon provided for you. If you can get it steamed that will be better. Do not apply a lot of pressure, just lightly wipe the excess tanning lotion and sweat from you skin. Please be sure to use plenty of moisturizer on your skin throughout the day and right away after your shower. A little baby oil on you damp skin after you dry off, then touch dry yourself gently and that will go along way.
