Residential Tanning Beds | Bronze Tan All Year Round

Residential tanning beds are becoming a popular choice with people who enjoy getting a tan. A typical tanning salon often require monthly membership fees that can get pretty expensive depending on how often you tan. Often for the price of a monthly membership you can purchase your own tanning equipment and have a quality tan with a sunbed designed by elite systems by prosun International, sunquest pro, or Wolff tanning that utilize the same technology as commercial beds. Most will send out information on the models and features that their beds offer.

Once it is paid off, you will own the bed, you will not pay a monthly fee and you can be tanned as often as you would like to without having to leave the comfort of your own home. Home tanning-beds are a great money saving opportunity for people who enjoy the convenience of indoor tans. It may be a greater initial investment but in the long run, it could save you thousands of dollars.

Beds for home use are sold by authorized distributors of the company or manufacturers such as Wolff, sunquest, prosun, esb, sunvision, and sunsplash, to just name a few. Residential tanning beds are the ideal choice for a home tanning system. Commercial tanning beds are a lot more expensive and are unnecessary for personal, home use. They are also significantly more expensive. Sometimes they will also require additional power than a residential unit. Residential units can be found in all the leading brand names.

Some Beds have series lamps for facial tanning. The lamps help tan the face which is more difficult in using models that don't offer facial tanners built in to the system.

Tanning beds range from approximately eight hundred dollars to four thousand dollars with the average being around two to three thousand dollar. There are good deals to be had on used tanning beds, if your interested. Most Commercial and residential distributors will also offer financing in house so you can pay a small monthly fee and pay the tanning bed off over the course of a few years. In the long run this will save you a lot of money and be tanned all year round.

You can find tanning suppliers in your local telephone directory or on the Internet. Before purchasing a particular brand, it is important to compare the types of beds that are available and their features. A tanning bed may have a higher or lower volts and more or fewer bulbs. Depending on the intensity of the bed will depend on how fast you get tanned.

A Salon will usually offer a 10-20 minute session for most beds. This depends on the technology of their tanning equipment and also quality and age of the bulbs and lamps. You will also need to purchase tanning lotion that is for indoor use and can be in a spray for easy applying to your skin. They may also offer sunless lotions for your convenience. Canopy beds are another type you may want to look at, they are very mobile and offer a lot of flexibility. Also you may want some accessories for your bed such as a mirror, a cooling system, and a light. These are all optional and depend on the model you choose.

This is not always a good thing for people with fair complexions. You should choose yours based on your complexion. If you are fairer with more of a tendency to burn, the better option for you will be the lower powered and fewer bulb models. If you have a darker complexion, though and are used to tanning in a salon bed, you can go with a higher powered model. Always choose a bed and lotions based on your natural skin complexion, not your existing tan.
