Tips on Installing Tanning Lamps

If you own a tanning bed or a salon, then from time to time you will have to install tanning bed lamps. The first thing to do is check the user manual for the specific tanning bed that you want to change the lamps on.

Before you order your new lamps, make sure you know what size to get and proper voltage used for the tanning bed.

Installing new tanning bed lamps are usually very easy for anyone to do. Most lamps pop or twist out similar to the lamps used in overhead fluorescent lighting. Again make sure to check the manual for guidelines, things always seem a little harder the first time we do it.

Be careful when installing the lamps and don’t break them. The used lamps can be resold or recycled, depending on time or preferences.

Most manufacturers recommend replacing all the lamps in the unit instead of just burned, flickering, or dull ones. Its best on the tanning bed plus gives a quality even tan to the users.
